Allow me to assume you're already familiar with Frida Kahlo, but believe it or not, I used to be more aware than familiar. Back then, I hesitated to paint famous personalities, preferring to avoid that path.
However, one day, a client asked me to paint Frida Kahlo in my distinctive style for a tattoo, as Kahlo's life story held profound personal meaning for them. Intrigued, I delved into extensive research to do justice to the task.
This painting, in the end, became one of my all-time favorite commissions, not just because I managed to manifest my vision perfectly, but also because it taught me the invaluable lesson of not hastily judging anyone or anything.
